City survey seeking solutions to improve downtown

The University community — especially students — can help shape the future of the city core by participating in the Windsor Downtown Revitalization Survey, says Marian Gayed, associate vice-president, external.

“Our students, faculty, and staff can play an important role in the city’s efforts to create a vibrant, safer, and inclusive downtown core that attracts residents and businesses,” Gayed says. “The survey invites the public to share experiences, solutions, suggestions, and concerns — providing input to guide a strategy to address issues like safety and housing.”

The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete and will run to Oct. 18: find it on the City of Windsor website.
