Third-year civil engineering students learned a lot in a competition to design and build a model bridge—and watch it destroyed to test its strength.

University recognized for workplace wellness programs

Everyone wins with workplace wellness, says Rita LaCivita, executive director of human resources at the University of Windsor. Her department has launched a number of initiatives to support employees in achieving their health and wellness goals.

Now those efforts have won recognition from Go For Health Windsor-Essex and the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit. The University of Windsor will receive a Healthy Workplace Award from Working Toward Wellness at a breakfast reception, Wednesday, October 19, at the Ciociaro Club.
