The problems facing the world today are complex and abstract, but a field challenging business to make a positive impact is on the rise: social entrepreneurship.
The Entrepreneurship Practice and Innovation Centre (EPICentre) will host a forum March 12 showcasing the many unique social enterprises within the local community.
Hear extraordinary stories, discover how social entrepreneurs are contributing to common purpose, and connect with like-minded individuals at the EPIC Social Enterprise Forum.
Keynote speaker Kylee Guenther is the CEO of Pivot Materials, a Detroit-based social impact business that is reforming the plastics industry. A panel will feature founders of other environmental businesses GreenerBins Compost, Green Tree Ontario and Green City Plastics. Attendees will also have a chance to hear from the 2019 Libro-EPIC Social Innovator cohort.
