2nd Annual Lancer Day of Giving Raises over $155,000!
Thanks to the support of over 410 different donors, on September 24 more than $155,000 was raised in support of our Lancer athletes.
This one-day giving campaign once again featured our teams going head-to-head to raise funds critical to their sporting success. Every dollar raised helps our teams and athletes with significant resources such as upgraded equipment and facilities and investing in coaching staff.

Giving Day is a way to engage alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends through an annual philanthropy event on September 24, 2025. This one-day endeavor creates an opportunity to tell a range of Lancer stories in a way that inspires new donors and re-engages current ones. This event provides a unique opportunity for continued cultivation of prospects in a strategic, engaging way.
Giving Tuesday is a global day of generosity that occurs each year following Thanksgiving. UWindsor participates in Giving Tuesday to offer alumni, faculty, staff and students the opportunity to strengthen their connection to the causes that matter most to them as they make philanthropic choices throughout the day. Giving Day, on the other hand, is specific to Lancer Athletics — a day when we reach out to Lancers and ask them to help ignite the blue and gold.

Anyone can donate! Whether you are a former varsity athlete, alum, parent of a current student-athlete, family member, friend, or fan – all are welcome donate. Every donor counts!
Only new one-time, pledge or recurring donations using unique email addresses received between Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 12:00 AM EDT to 11:59 p.m. EDT will count towards team goals. Previous pledges and recurring gifts cannot be counted.
Only one donation per person, per team, will be counted at the end of the challenge. The leaderboard will be updated as gifts are processed and multiple donations from the same person will be removed from the leaderboard tally at the discretion of the Gifts Processing office and the Athletics Advancement team.
