FINDING OUR AUTHENTIC VOICE, STORY, AND IDENTITY
We tend to view our life as a story in which we have a certain image of ourselves and follow a certain script which is expressed in our words and actions. The image and script of that story is inherited initially from our early relationships and our culture. The challenge of our life is to see ourselves in as true a light as possible and to shape our life story accordingly. In this quest, we are aided by our relationships and by the great stories, art, and music of humankind, which help us to name and give voice to our deepest experiences.
