Bio:
Dr. Taks joined the Faculty in 2001 from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium. A frequent presenter at conferences in Europe and North America, Dr. Taks brings an expertise in sport economics with particular interests in sport consumer behaviour. She has a very impressive publishing record in both European and North American journals. Dr. Taks is an accomplished teacher and has demonstrated her expertise as an advisor by supervising over 100 student research projects. Having a professor who can converse in French, Dutch, English, and German is certainly an asset to the university Sport Management program.
