The Search Committee met recently and advertisements for the next Provost and Vice-President, Academic are being placed in a variety of media shortly.
As noted previously, the Search Committee will endeavour to keep the community updated as much as possible throughout the process, while maintaining and respecting the confidentiality of the process which is critical to the integrity of the search. The latter will mean that updates will be high-level and relate to general process steps. At this point in the process, our Search Consultants have begun seeking applications and their work to recruit candidates is expected to continue late into the Winter term. As such, there will be no progress update until closer to the end of the Winter term.

Suggestions of individuals that might be approached to determine their interest in being considered for the position are welcome and may be submitted to Odgers at uwindsorvpa@odgers.com. All suggestions, including any associated documentation, will be held in strict confidence and reviewed only by Odgers, which will follow-up on suggested names as appropriate.

The Search Committee for Provost and Vice-President, Academic met recently to review the framework and schedule for the search, and to launch consultations on the Position Profile. It is expected that advertisements for the position will be posted by early January. Odgers has been engaged as search consultants to assist the Search Committee throughout the process.
