The Lancer football team will meet the Western Mustangs in the semi-final round of the Ontario University Athletics playoffs after a 50-33 quarter-final win over the Ottawa Gee Gees, Saturday in Ottawa.

Windsor’s men took home silver and the women qualified for advancement at the provincial cross-country championship meet in Ottawa Saturday. Four of the Lancer men finished in the top 10, and five were named all-stars. The women upset the Queen’s Gaels, ranked ninth in country, to finish fourth – high enough to join the men at the Canadian Interuniversity Sport title meet in Quebec City on November 12. The Lancer men’s soccer season came to an end on Sunday, following a 5-2 loss to the York Lions in the OUA quarter-finals. Adam Jameson and Paul Frenken scored for Windsor in the loss; read “Men’s soccer season ends with loss to Lions in quarter-finals” at goLancers.ca.
