Workshop and Interview

Students applying to the Drama in Education and Community program are required to apply in writing and successfully participate in a workshop and interview.

Application Process

Applicants to the Drama in Education and Community program must apply to the University of Windsor, usually through the Ontario Universities Application Centre. Drama in Education and Community must be specified as one of your program choices.

Applicants must then complete the Application Form for a Drama in Education and Community Interview. Specific instructions on other requirements, such as personal references and an interview fee, are included on the form.

Workshop and Interview

No preparation is required for this day of creative exploration. Come prepared to work as a member of an ensemble, playing theatre games, exploring creative drama, and discussing your career dreams and aspirations with the workshop leaders.

For students wishing to enter the program in September 2012, the Workshop/Interview dates are as follows:

Windsor: March 3-4, 2012
Toronto: March 17, 2012

Free Creativity Workshop

In preparation for your workshop and interview, the School of Dramatic Art offers a FREE Creativity Workshop in November, designed to help you prepare for the Spring entrance interviews. Workshops are held in the Jackman Dramatic Art Centre at the University of Windsor.

The workshop will be held on November 27, 2011, with both morning and afternoon sessions available.
