You can learn something new every day, but what will you do with that knowledge?
At the University of Windsor, our researchers are asking questions and finding answers. In the process, they are producing knowledge and people with wisdom to benefit the world.
“The unique feature of our community of scholars is that in addition to pursuing innovative ideas, they are also keen to find applications for their ideas,” says Ranjana Bird, Vice-President Research.
We are committed to curiosity-driven learning – pursuing answers where the questions lead. That search for answers trains people in critical thinking and gives them the tools to achieve their goals.
“A smart person can generate new knowledge,” Dr. Bird says. “A wise person will recognize the virtue of that knowledge.”
