The Canterbury College (Anglican) Chaplaincy serves a diverse, multi-faith, multi-cultural community, creating space for mutual respect and open dialogue as equals, and helping students and staff to grow in a life of compassion, justice, and prayer, in keeping with the College's mandate as "a community educating mind, body, and spirit."
Your Chaplain
Cynthia Connell
My passion and calling is Youth and Family Ministry. I am a Chaplain, Youth Ministry Coordinator and Certified Crisis Responder. When I’m not on campus or in the community, I am enjoying the outdoors or volunteering for local and global causes with my husband and two children. I am looking forward to getting to know all of the students throughout the year. I will be at the weekly Wednesday Toonie dinners and look forward to seeing you there. The Chaplains’ door is always open for you to come in to talk, pray, have a quite space or share a coffee or tea. I am excited to form the new Chaplaincy here at Canterbury College as well as the University of Windsor.
How to Reach Me!
I will be in the Chaplains’ Office at Canterbury Tuesdays-Fridays. I am available anytime by email at cconnell@uwindsor.ca If you have an emergency you can contact me on my cell phone (519-981-9603).
