Erin Green

Erin Green is an educator, researcher and theologian. She was among the first theologians to extensively research the impact of artificial intelligence, a topic she has been working on for nearly 15 years. She teaches and consults widely in the area of digital technologies, espcially AI, for academic and non-governmental organizations throughout Europe and Canada. She is currently contributing to a research project with the Toronto United Church Council’s CHURCHx initiative, exploring how AI and chatbots can shape religious education and faith formation. Her publications include policy guides, journal articles, and books on various aspects of artificial intelligence, including the 2022 publication AI Ethics and Higher Education and an upcoming contribution to the Oxford Handbook on Digital Theology.
