Drew Gillette
Drew Gillette is a dedicated and seasoned educator who currently works in the Toronto District School Board (TDSB). Drew's passion for education extends beyond the classroom. He has eight years of experience running diversity, equity and inclusion workshops for non- profits, churches, schools, unions and businesses, focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion. These workshops have empowered various organizations to create more inclusive and equitable environments. Most recently he has just recieved a postion facilitating workshops with the Equity and Women's Services department of the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario (the largest educator union in Canada). In addition to his professional achievements, Drew is deeply committed to community building, social justice, and activism. With over 20 years of experience running children and youth programs in various communities across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Guelph, Drew has made a significant impact. In recognition of his outstanding work in the community, he was named one of Guelph’s Top 20 Dynamic Leaders Under 40 in 2018.
