Esentsei Staats Pangowish
Esentsei Staats Pangowish is a citizen of two great sovereign confederacies, Haudenosaunee Confederacy and Three Fires Confederacy. She made history by being the first Indigenous student to graduate with a Master of Laws degree (Uwindsor). She is now pursuing her PhD at Osgoode Hall Law School. She has taught at the University of Toronto, the University of Windsor and St. Clair College on topics connected to Indigenous law, Aboriginal law, the colonial state of Canada, political science, and social justice.
