The Alpha Course, now known simply as Alpha, is an evangelistic course which seeks to introduce the basics of the Christian faith through a series of talks and discussions. It is described by its organisers as "an opportunity to explore the meaning of life".
Meal starts at 7pm, followed by course from 7:30-8:30.

Student Toonie dinners are held every Wednesday starting at 4:30pm, supplemented by St. Paul’s Anglican Church, at the Canterbury College Administration-Building. Canterbury residents are encouraged to reserve a ticket for the following week’s Toonie Dinner, to assist in food planning. All non-residents must pre-register for the following weekly Toonie Dinner, by name, at a cost of $5.00.
