Webinars to promote mental health among faculty and staff

A series of webinars starting tomorrow will address issues of mental health for UWindsor employees.

Hosted by the local chapter of the Canadian Mental Health Association via Zoom video conferencing, each 30-minute session is offered twice and will be followed by a question-and-answer period.

Tuesday, April 21 - Stress & Anxiety, 9 a.m. or 1:30 p.m.
Explaining the difference between stress and anxiety, this webinar will present some important mental health tips to help during COVID-19.

Thursday, April 23 - Isolation & Loneliness, 9 a.m. or 1:30 p.m.
This webinar will focus on the difference between isolation, loneliness, and boredom while staying at home during COVID-19. It will offer strategies to help preserve mental health while social distancing.

Tuesday, April 28 - Mindfulness While at Work, 9 a.m. or 1:30 p.m.
The way we work has changed during these extraordinary times. In this webinar, practical mindfulness and mental health strategies will be discussed to help maintain work-life balance while working from home.
