Top students join honour roll in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences

The Faculty of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences celebrated students’ academic excellence Tuesday afternoon at the annual Dean’s Honour Roll awards.

A total of 572 undergraduate students in FAHSS academic programs qualified for the Dean’s Honour Roll 2022-23. While not all honorees were able to attend the celebration in Alumni Auditorium, more than 100 students walked across the stage to receive their awards in person.

Provost Robert Aguirre delivered congratulatory remarks, reminding students that they are developing essential soft skills in demand by employers.

To be included on the honour roll, students must have completed at least 10 or more courses within a FAHSS academic major, obtained a cumulative average of at least 80 per cent by the end of the academic year, and have enrolled in courses with a major from FAHSS in at least one semester.
