Lancer golfer Meaghan Pototschnik capped off a terrific 2011 campaign by capturing the Ontario University Athletics women’s golf individual championship on Tuesday in Kingston.
Sitting five shots off the lead heading into the final round, Pototschik fired a blistering 77 on Wednesday to win the individual provincial title. Her two-day total of 159 at Kingston’s Loyalist Country Club put the nursing student two shots ahead of Christine Fraser and Jane Tang.
