As the holidays approach, with all the travel—and consequent injuries—giving blood is more important than ever. Canadian Blood Services will hold a full blood donor clinic on Tuesday, December 4, in Ambassador Auditorium in the CAW Student Centre from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Grad student Rochelle Stevenson won Thursday’s DailyNews trivia contest and free tickets to the University Jazz Ensemble concert, Friday at Banwell Community Church.
Stevenson’s entry was drawn from all respondents who correctly identified Kenny G as a saxophonist who started his solo career in the 1980s, Oscar Pettiford as a pioneer of bebop, and Strange Fruit as a 1978 inductee into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
Samantha Allen likes to get her picture taken. The kinesiology student says that’s why she plans to come out today for a mass group photo celebrating the University’s takeover of the former Windsor Star buildings.

The University of Windsor School of Music will continue with a 36-year-old Christmas tradition Sunday, December 2, when the Chamber Choir and the University Singers will present A Festival of Christmas at Assumption Church.
The students have been preparing for the choral celebration since September. It will start at 3 p.m. and will be conducted by Bradley Bloom and Richard Householder.
