A faculty member who spent a career teaching at and supporting UWindsor; a community supporter of UWindsor cancer research; Windsor’s youngest mayor and UWindsor alumnus; and a former Alumni Association president and long-time Board of Governors member, are the four outstanding University and community supporters who will be recognized with a 2013 Clark Award during an evening in their honour this Friday, Sept. 20 at 6:30 p.m.

It is with regret that the University announces that retiree Marinella Bertucci passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2013. Ms. Bertucci began working in the Food Services Department on September 30, 1991 as a part-time General Cafeteria employee and retired from that position on October 31, 2003.
Flags will be lowered on Monday, September 16, 2013 in her memory.

It is with regret that the University announces the passing of faculty retiree Dr. Barry Taub on Thursday, September 12, 2013. Dr. Taub commenced his employment with the University of Windsor on May 1, 1973 as a Counsellor in the Department of Psychology and became the Director of the Psychological Services Centre on July 1, 1975. He also served as a Clinical Psychologist in the same area and was promoted to Associate Professor on July 1, 1979, receiving tenure on July 1, 1981. As well, Dr.

“I really like Windsor as a city,” said the latest faculty addition to the department of Sociology, Anthropology and Criminology. “It’s very cosmopolitan, a lot more so than most medium sized cities.”

Athletic therapists have teamed up with faculty members in neuropsychology to launch a new concussion clinic for varsity athletes.
