Academic excellence to take centre stage at Convocation

More than 1,600 students will cross the stage at the Toldo Lancer Centre this Thursday and Friday for the University of Windsor’s 120th Convocation.

The graduation ceremony is a celebration of academic achievement, hard work, and dedication, says registrar Ray Darling.

“Convocation serves as a powerful reminder of the transformative potential within our university community,” he says. “It is a testament to our commitment to academic excellence and the incredible accomplishments of our graduates.”

Diplomas will be awarded during four sessions:

  • Session One at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, all programs in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, the Odette School of Business, and the Faculty of Graduate Studies
  • Session Two at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, all programs in the faculties of Education, Human Kinetics, Law, Nursing, and Science
  • Session Three at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 13, all programs in civil, environmental, electrical and computer engineering
  • Session Four at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13, all programs in general, industrial, mechanical, and automotive engineering
