Cassandra Marteniano, a first-year nursing student, won this week’s DailyNews quiz contest and its fabulous prize of a beautiful UWindsor sweatshirt.

Marteniano’s entry was drawn from all those which correctly identified UWindsor alumna Jenny Coco as CEO of the Coco Group, Janet Davidson as Alberta’s deputy health minister, Mary Jo Haddad as CEO of the Hospital for Sick Children, Krystyna Hoeg as former CEO of Corby Distilleries and Sandra Pupatello as CEO of the WindsorEssex Economic Development Corporation.

To help celebrate the University of Windsor’s 50th anniversary, DailyNews will run a contest at the beginning of each week, offering a prize donated by the University Bookstore. This week’s prize, a beautiful sweatshirt featuring a Lancer crest surrounded by the text “University of Windsor: 1857,” is also available for purchase from the Bookstore kiosk at a cost of $39.95.
