Food Services will ladle out a hickory-smoked parsnip soup to benefit the Heart and Stroke Foundation at a fund-raising luncheon Thursday.
The Homestyle station in the Marketplace food outlet will celebrate the diverse cultures and cuisines of Africa’s largest nation Thursday, March 14, with a menu prepared in consultation with students from Nigeria.
“We are very excited about being able to offer these dishes,” says assistant manager Paolo Vasapolli. “It is wonderful to be able to offer a taste of home for Nigerian students, and we hope everyone will try and enjoy these delicious foods.”
The Subway sandwich and Pizza Pizza stations in the CAW Student Centre’s Marketplace food court will open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays through the summer, reports Food Services.
The cafeteria’s other stations, including the Second Cup coffee counter and grab-and-go items, will open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The food court will return to full operation September 4.
The Dividends location in the Odette Building is open 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday, and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
