Several recipients of Windsor Endowment for the Arts recognized at a gala event May 8 at the WFCU Centre have UWindsor connections.
Arts Leadership Awards went to faculty members Brent Lee and Iain Baxter& for their contributions in performing and visual arts respectively. Professor Kim Nelson, a filmmaker, received a $2,000 prize as an emerging artist, as did alumnae Alana Bartol (BFA 2004)—an artist and entrepreneur honoured for community arts—and singer Amelia Daigle (BMus 2012).
