Ontario University Athletics has announced formats for league play and championships for the 2021-22 season.
Among the changes that will affect Lancer teams are reductions in the number of regular-season games:
- in football, from eight games to six;
- in basketball, to 16 games;
- in hockey, to 20 games;
- in soccer, to 10 games; and
- in volleyball, to 14 games.
The schedules are subject to change based on regional health guidelines, as well as provincial sport organization return-to-play guidelines.
