A competition provides an opportunity for students to pitch their solutions to achieve accessible mobility.
Oct 1st, 2021
Technologies to achieve accessible mobility for people with disabilities and the elderly are the subject of a “pitch-off” competition sponsored by Ontario’s Autonomous Vehicle Innovation Network and General Motors Canada.
The “Accessible Mobility: Towards a Zero-Barrier Mobility” competition invites teams of one to three students to pitch solutions on a challenge focused on using or proposing user-centric technologies. The challenge statement along with scoring criteria will be shared with contestants registered by the Oct. 15 deadline.
The deadline to submit proposed solutions is Nov. 15, and those short-listed will present their solutions to a panel of judges on Nov. 25. Register to participate through this link.
