The University will continue to require faculty, staff, students, and visitors to wear facemasks in all campus buildings and outdoor spaces where physical distancing may be difficult through the month of May.

The move to extend the University of Windsor’s Mandatory Mask Policy was prompted by elevated levels of COVID-19 transmission during the sixth wave of the pandemic.

This is the only change to the updates to protocols outlined in the March 31 Return to Campus Newsletter, which announced the suspension as of May 1 of the University’s vaccination policy and the requirement for daily screening through the Safe Lancer App.
