A ceremony to mark Remembrance Day will take place outside Memorial Hall — and online — Nov. 11 at 10:45 a.m.
The University of Windsor community is invited to a Remembrance Day ceremony outside the east entrance to Memorial Hall today — Friday, Nov. 11, at 10:45 a.m.
Human Resources has made provision for non-essential university employees to attend the ceremony, which will last until approximately 11:15 a.m. Those on campus who have served in the military are especially welcome to attend.
Students will contribute to the program, providing choral music, performing ceremonial music on trumpet, and reading historical material from the Canadian Letters and Images Project.
Those on campus who are unable attend are invited to observe two minutes of silence at 11 a.m. The ceremony will also be live-streamed to accommodate students, staff, and faculty working remotely.
