Having trouble getting started on your assignments? The Writing Support Desk can help. It is offering a free workshop about Pre-Writing Techniques on Tuesday, September 20, from 4 to 5 p.m. in room 302, Leddy Library west building.

The workshop will cover how to interpret assignment prompts, identify action words, and build an assignment checklist. Instructors will also discuss research techniques, brainstorming tools, and organization strategies.
