Interfaith symposium to consider existence of deity

An interfaith symposium Thursday, Nov. 23, will examine the question “God: Fact or Fiction?”

Hosted by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Students Association, the event is set for 6 p.m. in the Alumni Auditorium, CAW Student Centre, and will feature panellists:

  • Steve Ghikadis, an active member of Humanist Canada;
  • Shalini Rajack-Sankarlal, pastor of the University Community Church;
  • Siyaram Pandey, president of the Windsor Hindu Temple; and
  • Zeeshan Muzaffar Ahmed, a missionary with Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Canada.

Besides presentations, the evening promises a question-and-answer session, exhibition, and dinner. Admission is free, but registration is required at http://bit.ly/AMSAUWIN.
