Creators, collectibles, cosplayers and contests await fans attending the campus ComiCon, Wednesday in the CAW Student Centre.

A question-and-answer session will feature comic book artists:

• Johnny Desjardins, whose work for Dynamite Entertainment includes the titles Red Sonja, Robocop, Vampirella, Kato and the Green Hornet; and
• Arvell Jones, who has drawn for DC Comics and Marvel. His character Misty Knight, one of the first black female superheroes, is featured on the new Netflix series Luke Cage.

Desjardins will also create a large sketch during the event.

There will be special contest prizes for those who show up wearing a T-shirt featuring their favourite superhero, and UWindsor students and employees are eligible for a 20 percent discount on admission to the Windsor ComiCon at Caesars Windsor, October 15 and 16.

Admission to the October 5 campus event is free; it runs 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Commons.
