An Industry - Researcher Connector Event on February 21 will provide an overview of the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council’s Engage Program to establish collaborative research projects for industry and researchers.
“This is an excellent opportunity to identify new industry partners to further your research program,” says Heather Pratt, UWindsor director of research and development.
The program provides grants intended to foster the development of new research partnerships between academic researchers and companies that have never collaborated before, by supporting short-term research and development projects aimed at addressing a company-specific problem in the natural sciences or engineering fields.
The event is set for Tuesday, February 21, and will run 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Chatham’s John Bradley Convention Centre. The Office of Research Services will provide lunch as well as return transportation from Windsor to Chatham.
