UWinsite Finance has been live for six months, and we are ready to upgrade to a better user interface!
The Finance department warns users of UWinsite Finance, the campus’s financial information system, that the system will be unavailable starting Friday, Aug. 24, 2018 at 10 p.m. We anticipate service to be restored by Sunday, Aug. 26 at 12 p.m. Any delays in the upgrade will be announced on the ITS Hot News and the Finance Department website.
“The upgrade will mean a sleeker, more user friendly look and feel, and some relief on small glitches users have experienced in their first few months on the system” says Controller Gillian Heisz.
There are no significant changes to the system’s functionality or the business processes, so it is business as usual for campus users on Monday, Aug. 27.
“Self service procurement users may notice a new landing page when they access the Procurement module” warns Heisz, and notes that resources are available to assist at http://www.uwindsor.ca/finance/691/r13-upgrade.
