The Dennis Fairall Fieldhouse will host some of the best shot putters and weight throwers in the Ontario University Athletics on Saturday, Feb. 9, in the only Lancer action at home this weekend.

The Kari (Hedges) Yeboah Memorial Throws Competition is named to honour an alumna of the UWindsor track and field team who died in September 2014 at the age of just 30 years old.

Track athletes will travel to Geneva, Ohio, to compete in the SPIRE Division I Classic meet, Friday and Saturday.

On Friday, men’s and women’s volleyball will be in London to take on the Western Mustangs, while men’s and women’s basketball will tip off against the Gryphons in Guelph.

Men’s hockey will hit the road for games against the Waterloo Warriors on Friday and the Guelph Gryphons on Saturday. Women’s hockey will play the Laurier Golden Hawks in Waterloo on Saturday.
