Online MEM

The University of Windsor now offers a new online version of the Master of Engineering Management (MEM) program. The program is designed to meet the needs of busy full-time employed engineers and professionals seeking to advance their degrees.

Features of Online MEM

Flexible Online Learning: lectures are delivered entirely online. Students have access to recorded online lectures after the live broadcasts.

Live Expert Instruction: lectures are delivered synchronously to allow students to interact with the instructors and other students. Our faculty members are trained to use online instruction technology.

Hands-on Curriculum: courses are designed to maximize student interaction outside class time through project work and experiential learning.

Team-Based Learning: learning outcomes emphasize the need to work in teams. Various technologies are used to facilitate team and project work remotely.

Mandatory Weekend Residency Sessions

The online MEM option requires candidates to attend two* mandatory residency sessions on campus, over two weekends. Full-time working engineers can complete the session without having to take time off work. The residency components of the program allow students to meet the instructors and work in teams to develop strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. Under normal circumstances, the residency sessions are conducted at the main University of Windsor campus in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The sessions will be held on the first weekend of classes in the following months:

  • Session 1 (Semester 2 – January 2024)
  • Session 2 (Semester 4 – September 2024)

*Pending approvals
