Students demonstrate a virtual reality project

Industrial Engineering Capstone Design Demo Day

The Faculty of Engineering's Capstone Design program generates student-driven solutions to real-world problems. Capstone projects challenge fourth-year engineering students to apply the formal knowledge they’ve gained during their undergraduate studies.

Industrial Engineering students at the University of Windsor spend the fall and winter semesters working on sponsored projects from initial concepts to final designs. Although the present COVID-19 pandemic situation has altered how we do business, these students have met the challenges head on.

The Industrial Engineering Virtual Capstone Showcase was held March 26, 2021.

Windsor Mold Group Capstone Endowment Awards

Thanks to Windsor Mold Group, students had the chance to win cash prizes for their innovative designs. The Windsor Mold Group Capstone Endowment Award recipients were selected by Windsor Mold Group representatives Keith Henry, Sandeep Singh and Marc DiDomenico, and guest industry judges Mark Dolsen, TRQSS and Pete Naysmith, Valiant TMS.
