Lee Wilson, Assistant Professor of Acting in the School of Dramatic Art, was invited to train, along with seven other participants, with Patsy Rodenburg OBE in presence, body, voice, and speech. Patsy is recognized as the foremost voice teacher in the English-speaking world.
Wilson will be the first certified male teacher under the Patsy Rodenburg Associate PRA program in Canada. This is a two-year certification program working one-on-one with Patsy in Portugal. He will bring this work to the students at the School of Dramatic Arts and is currently coaching actors, business leaders, executives, lawyers, medical professionals, and politicians in presence, body, voice, and speech.
Wilson says, "Patsy’s work equips me with the tools to help students and colleagues create presence and speak eloquently to craft and communicate their stories with maximum impact and engagement, offering them the skills and confidence to share their stories and inspire audiences around the world".
