Study in Canada Scholarships (SICS)
The Study in Canada Scholarships (SICS) program is designed to diversity international connections among Canada and a wide range of countries in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, and Sub-Saharan Africa. Eligible students may receive between $10,200 and $12,700 for a period of four to six months.
Eligibility:
- Citizens of the following eligible countries/territories:
- Asia: Bangladesh, Nepal, Taiwan;
- Europe: Türkiye, Ukraine;
- Middle East and North Africa: Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia;
- Sub-Saharan Africa: Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda.
- Enrolled full-time at a post-secondary institution in an eligible country/territory;
- Paying tuition fees to that institution at the time of application and for the full duration of their mobility in Canada.
- Able to complete all project activities no later than September 30, 2027.

Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program (ELAP)
The Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program (ELAP) promotes partnerships, student mobility, and research collaboration between post-secondary institutions in Canada and the Americas. Students from eligible countries may receive between $8,200 and $11,100 for a period of four to six months.
Eligibility:
- Citizens of the following eligible countries/territories:
- Caribbean: Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Montserrat, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos;
- Central America: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama;
- North America: Mexico;
- South America: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela.
- Enrolled full-time at a post-secondary institution in an eligible country/territory;
- Paying tuition fees to that institution at the time of application and for the full duration of their mobility in Canada;
- Able to complete all project activities no later than September 30, 2027.

Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development – Phase 2 (SEED-2)
The SEED-2 program provides scholarships of $10,200–$15,900 for students from ASEAN countries, Pacific Island nations, and Mongolia to study or conduct research in Canada. It supports 4–8 month exchanges at Canadian institutions and helps cover travel, living expenses, and other academic costs.
Eligibility:
- Citizens of the following eligible countries/territories:
- ASEAN Member States: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos (Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR)), Malaysia, Myanmar, The Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Vietnam;
- Pacific Island Countries: Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu;
- Mongolia.
- Enrolled full-time at a post-secondary institution in an eligible country
- Paying tuition fees to that institution at the time of application and for the full duration of their exchange
