Deadline for deposit steps #2 and #3 for Fall 2023 graduation

For students who completed deposit step #1 by August 30th: Last day for completion of all degree requirements, including completing Steps 2 and 3 of the final submission (Deposit) of dissertations, theses and major papers to Graduate Studies, for Fall graduation 2023.

Students who are completing the deposit in the Fall term period (Sept. 1st to Dec 31st) must be registered for Fall term 2023. Review the registration requirements for students in research programs who are defending and/or depositing.

Note the following regarding deposits of dissertations, theses and major papers completed after September 14:

• Students who deposit after September 14, 2023 will not be eligible to graduate in the Fall 2023 convocation and must apply to graduate in a subsequent convocation (e.g. Spring 2024).
• The final grade for dissertation, thesis, or major paper deposited after September 14, 2023 will be posted on UWinsite after the Fall Convocation.
• For students who deposit from September 15 to September 28 (Phase I deposit deadline), the Phase I adjustment will also be processed after the Fall Convocation (see also September 28th - deposit deadline for Phase I).
