Phase I Deposit deadline for Winter term 2027

Last day to complete the post-defence submission (“Deposit”) of dissertations, theses, major papers, and internship papers to Graduate Studies, within the Winter term 2027 Phase I grace period.

• Students must have completed the Defence by the end of the previous term, Fall 2026, in accordance with the Phase I policy effective Winter term 2027. The final grade for the dissertation, thesis, major paper, or internship will be assigned to the previous term, Fall 2026, per the Phase I policy.
• Students who are defending after January 17, 2027, or who have defended in Fall 2026 but not completed the post-defence Deposit with graduate studies by January 17th and do not meet the Phase I eligibility criteria, must register in the dissertation, thesis, major paper, or internship for Winter term 2027 by the Jan. 17th academic add/drop date, and will remain registered throughout the Winter term 2027, in accordance with the Phase I policy.
