Semester Enrolment Units

This section presents reports that track student enrolment through course registrations, organized by department and course. The data covers Fall, Winter, and Spring terms from 2017 to 2024.

One SEU equals one student taking a standard 3.0 credit course in a single term. SEUs are calculated by multiplying the number of students in a course by its course weight (or value).

Key considerations:

  • A 6.0 credit (double-weighted) course in one term = 2 SEUs per student.
  • A 1.5 credit (half-weighted) course = 0.5 SEUs per student.
  • For two-term courses, the SEU is divided equally across terms.
