Overview

The Office of Institutional Analysis (IA) supports the University of Windsor’s strategic goals by leading the collection, analysis, and dissemination of institutional data. IA provides insights for evidence-based decision-making, strategic and enrolment planning, policy development, and government relations.

The UWindsor Data Centre serves as the University’s central repository for institutional data products. It features interactive dashboards and static reports on key metrics such as student enrolment, retention and graduation, awards, student experience, faculty and staff employment, research, and finance.

Data Source

These dashboards and reports are built using IBM Planning Analytics and Microsoft Power BI, leveraging advanced data analytics and visualization tools. Data are curated and integrated from multiple internal and external sources—including the University’s student information system, human resources system, Common University Data Ontario (CUDO), and Ontario Universities Application Centre (OUAC) — through a rigorous process that ensures data quality, consistency, and governance.

Note: The data presented may differ from other reports depending on the timing of data collection and applied filters. For definitions, metadata, and guidance on using the data, refer to the Notes section within each dashboard and the Definitions & Notes Section on our website.
