The IMS Centre has organized many successful international conferences within its scope of research. Examples of the conferences that were successfully organized and held include:
- The 47th CIRP Conference on Manufacturing Systems (CMS 2014), 28-30 April 2014 in Windsor, Ontario. The conference theme is “Manufacturing in the Age of Variety”. Conference Co-Chairs are: Professor Hoda ElMaraghy and Professor Waguih ElMaraghy.
- The 6th CIRP Industrial Product Service Systems (IPS2) Conference, 1-2 May 2014 in Windsor, Ontario. Conference Co-Chairs are: Professor Hoda ElMaraghy and Professor Jay Lee (University of Cincinnati, USA).
- 5th International Conference on Changeable, Agile, Reconfigurable and Virtual Production (CARV 2013), The conference theme is "Enabling Manufacturing Competiveness and Economic Sustainability". The event was held in Munich, Germany, 6-9 October 2013
