Many authors bring out that the second half of life (not necessarily chronically, but spiritually) calls for a deeper sense of meaning, one that emerges from within, from our “soul” rather than our “ego,” our vocation rather than our career. We will explore this fuller meaning through various authors. We will draw upon sources from music, story and myth, painting, and other arts, to make the material more concretely tangible.
