On August 9th, 2026, at 9 a.m., the University of Windsor Women’s Basketball team will be hosting its
sixth annual Alumni and Friends Golf Fundraiser at Coachwood Golf & Country Club.
This is one of the major fundraising events for the Women’s Basketball team, and our fundraising needs
are extensive.
Our needs to operate the team totals $110,000 as follows:
• Direct scholarship funds to our athletes ($15,000)
• Food for the players on the road during league games ($10,000)
• Recruiting budget ($10,000)
• Exhibition series in Montreal, Toronto, and Calgary ($60,000)
• Subsidize a government grant for a full-time female assistant coach ($15,000).
We are asking for In-Kind donations to offer as raffle prizes for our golfers, to help enhance their experience at the fundraiser.
