1) As you know from our website and word of mouth (not to mention the obscenely large posters hanging in the foyer), we have had tremendous mooting success this year. In recognition of the amount of work that goes into mooting, Faculty Council decided to raise the credit-value of most upper year competitive moots to 4 from 3 (6 for the Jessup) starting in the 2011-2012 academic year.

In the last issue of WINDSOR LAW Matters, I wrote about the discussion on Law Libraries which took place at the American Association of Law Schools' meeting in San Francisco. The other subject of interest to Deans at that meeting concerned potential curriculum developments. I was keenly interested in the discussions as we have been trying to launch a thorough and wide ranging curriculum review for the past number of years.

S.L.S. is looking to enhance external mooting in a number of ways and has asked the Law Library to assist. Matthew Badrov and Gordon Akilie are putting this together. The Library will try a limited electronic "Moots' eLibrary" in the Computer Labs for the various external moots' facta, and your own statement on "my mooting experience".
