The following are some examples. These should be personalized to fit your communication style and the culture of your department.

Hi team:

I am excited to announce that we'll be starting regular one-on-one meetings. These meetings will provide a dedicated space for us to connect, discuss goals, and work together to achieve them.

These one-on-one meetings will not supplement our regular team meetings but will be exclusively for each of you and I to discuss individual matters. We will work collaboratively to set the agenda and the structure of those meetings.

I will be sending recurring meeting invites shortly. To make the most of our time together, I will send each of you a draft agenda and encourage you to add any topics that you would like to discuss.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you,

Hi:

I am excited to announce that I'll be starting one-on-one meetings with everyone on the team. These regular check-ins are a great opportunity for us to build stronger relationships, foster open communication, and work together to achieve our goals.

During our one-on-ones, we will discuss a variety of topics, including:

  • Your priorities and goals, including how I can support you.
  • Challenges and roadblocks, how we can work together to identify and overcome any obstacles you may be facing.
  • Feedback and growth, ways to enhance skills and support career growth.

To make the most of our time together, I will be sending you a recurring meeting invitation. I will start the agenda, but please feel free to add any topics you would like discussed.

I am looking forward to our one-on-ones and building a stronger, more collaborative team. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Best regards,
