Join local artist Cyndra MacDowall for an artist talk about her explorations of gender in sports in contemporary photography.
Public program. Free to AGW members. Non-members free with general admission.
UWindsor visual arts professor Cyndra MacDowall will discuss her use of photography to explore gender in sports in a public presentation Thursday, March 7, at the Art Gallery of Windsor.
Beginning at 7 p.m., the event is free to gallery members and open to non-members with general admission.
The gallery is hosting the lecture in conjunction with its exhibition, “Power Play: Hockey in Canadian Contemporary Art,” which examines the sport through the eyes of 14 artists, including MacDowall. It continues through May 12 at the gallery, 401 Riverside Dr. W.
