Students participate in the bi-annual Fahrenheit Festival of Fire Sculpture working in teams to conceive, prototype, and build their sculptures. The one day event challenges the students to work amongst professional artists in this unique event.
The 2011 festival was attended by over 18,000 guests. Since 2006, the festival has been organized by Artcite Inc., Control.Burn Collective in partnership with the Town of LaSalle at the the Vollmer Culture Recreation Complex.
