Kory Bessette

Kory is a clinical therapist registered with the OCSWSSW. He is a Registered Social Worker who obtained an MSW from the University of Windsor.

Kory has worked locally with non profit organizations on issues related to sexual identity, human trafficking, and community health. In addition, he opened his own private practice, using hypnosis with clients to overcome anxiety and addictions. 

Kory uses an eclectic approach to therapy, including CBT, mindfulness, and emotion focused therapy in a friendly and compassionate environment. In counselling, you can expect sessions to focus on identifying and interpreting thoughts and emotions, emotional wellness skills, and building resilience.

Kory is actively involved in profession of social work as a field instructor for student placements and teaching in the Master of Social Work for Working Professionals program. In his spare time he enjoys local film making and the Windsor film festival.
